White House: No Indications of Any Party's Desire to Join Israel-Hamas Conflict

The White House announced today, Friday, that it has not observed any signs of desire from any other external parties to join the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas or to expand its scope. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters, "We have not seen any indication from any other external party of their willingness or readiness to broaden this conflict." This statement came hours after the deputy head of the Lebanese Hezbollah group, Naeem Qassem, stated on Friday that the group would not be swayed by calls for them to remain on the sidelines of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, saying they are in a state of "full readiness" to participate in the fighting.
