A number of positive agreements were reached between Lebanon and Iran in various areas, specifically in inspection and training in labor relations between workers and employers, vocational and craft education, and the exchange of technical and engineering services as well as specialized labor. During a meeting between the Minister of Labor in the caretaker government Mustafa Bayram and his Iranian counterpart Seyed Soulat Mortezavi in Iran, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two sides. It was also agreed that specialists from both countries would follow up on the terms of the memorandum to ensure these agreements are implemented in practice. During the meeting, Bayram and Mortezavi expressed hope to "benefit from both countries' experiences in all fields, especially entrepreneurship and job creation."
