Tunisian player Ons Jabeur, the runner-up and defending champion from last year, overcame a deficit to win against Bianca Andreescu with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, keeping her hopes alive in the Wimbledon tennis tournament on Saturday. Andreescu was the better player at the start against Ons, who became the first Arab woman to reach a Grand Slam final last year. However, the sixth-seeded Jabeur regained control by breaking her Canadian opponent's serve in the middle of the second set before leveling the match. Andreescu initially took the lead in the deciding set with a break of serve but lost her advantage due to a double fault before rain interrupted the match on Center Court. Upon resuming play, Ons managed to hold her serve with difficulty and then broke Andreescu's serve without losing any points to lead 5-4. Jabeur secured her spot in the fourth round, where she will face two-time champion Petra Kvitova.
