The Central Drug Control Office of the Judicial Police Unit thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs concealed within three wooden tables to a European country. The office arrested the two individuals involved and confiscated prohibited materials.
According to details, the office received information about the attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs expertly concealed inside the wooden tables. On February 27, 2023, as a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, the office's personnel managed to arrest the two individuals who were present to deliver the package to the shipping company. Upon inspecting the package, 14.38 kg of hashish was discovered inside. Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
