Hobeika: I Will Continue to Prevent the Khaltah Incident from Igniting Sectarian Strife

Joe Hobeika, the head of the "Wad" party, denied claims made by a media outlet and circulated on social media regarding his arrangement of a visit from "Hezbollah" to the Bajani family in Khaltah. In a statement, he said, "What I have done since the very first moment is to cut off the path for those who seek political gain without any sense of responsibility regarding the blood of the martyr Fadi Bajani. I will continue, along with the sincere, to prevent the Khaltah incident from becoming a spark that ignites sectarian strife, which all Lebanese have paid for and continue to pay for."
