The director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Iyad al-Jabri, announced that "at least 45 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on homes in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza." He told Reuters that "the hospital received 45 bodies due to the Israeli bombardment of the homes of three families in Deir al-Balah during the past hour."
