Prime Minister Najib Mikati followed up with Civil Defense Director Raymond Khattar on the efforts to extinguish the fire that broke out in the town of Bqaiasfrin, which almost spread to the pine areas in the town's forest. Khattar reported that the fire has been contained, and the cooling process of the area where the fire broke out is currently underway.
