The General Security has apologized for the "unexpected" technical malfunction in the information system used for managing passenger flow at Beirut Airport. The Media Affairs Office of the General Directorate of General Security pointed out that there was an unexpected technical issue with the information system utilized for processing the arrival and departure of passengers at Rafik Hariri International Airport on Sunday. To facilitate the process for travelers, especially for those departing, a temporary shift to an alternative information system was made until the malfunction was resolved. In fact, the technical team at the Directorate was able to restore normal operations after necessary measures were taken. General Security announced that all procedures were implemented to ease the experience for citizens, including increasing personnel at the counters in the arrival and departure halls.
