Mourning in Bsharri on the Fortieth Anniversary of the Qurna al-Sawda Incident

Today, Tuesday, mourning prevails in the Bsharri area in commemoration of the fortieth anniversary of the Qurna al-Sawda incident, which claimed the lives of Haitham and Malik Tawk. A mass will be held for their souls under the patronage of Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai at St. Saba Church this morning. On this occasion, all celebrations for the Feast of Our Lady were absent in Bsharri, with activities limited to masses and prayers in the churches.
