Moscow: Two Coalition Drones Approached Russian Fighter Jets Over Syria

Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria Deputy Chief Admiral Vadim Kolet reported that two drones affiliated with the US-led coalition in Syria dangerously approached Russian Su-35 fighter jets on Sunday. The Russian news agency quoted Kolet stating, "The incidents occurred early in the morning, one over the city of Raqqa and the other over the Mediterranean Sea." Kolet added, "The Russian pilots demonstrated great professionalism by taking necessary precautions in time to prevent a collision with the coalition drones." Russia and the United States have reported similar incidents repeatedly in Syria over the past few days.
