Britain Urges North Korea Not to Sell Weapons to Russia

Britain urged North Korea on Wednesday to end discussions about selling weapons to Russia as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at a rare summit. The spokesperson for British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated in a press conference, "The Democratic People's Republic of Korea should adhere to the public commitments made by Pyongyang, which include not selling weapons to Russia." He noted that "this visit highlights Russia's global isolation as the world unites against Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine, forcing him to seek support from regimes like North Korea."
