A spokesperson for the US State Department told LBCI that the United States is concerned about any violations of the Blue Line and their impact on stability and security in both Lebanon and Israel, urging parties to refrain from provocative actions that undermine security and safety. He stated, "We call on Lebanon to work through UNIFIL to resolve any such violations." He added, "These violations only underscore the need for Lebanese authorities to ensure the freedom of movement of UNIFIL and its access to key areas along the Blue Line, which is crucial to prevent cycles of escalation." Regarding Amos Hochstein's visit to Israel and whether it included discussions about the Lebanese file, the US State Department spokesperson said, "We have no comment on any specific US diplomatic discussions that may or may not have occurred."
