An earthquake measuring 4.6 hit the Elazığ province in eastern Turkey. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated in a report that the earthquake occurred at 1:44 AM in the "Seferihisar" area at a depth of 11 km underground. The province of Elazığ confirmed that it had not received any reports of damage due to the earthquake.
