The head of the execution department in Beirut, Judge Gabi Shaheen, issued a decision to place a precautionary seizure on the assets of Lebanon's central bank governor, Riad Salameh, his brother Raja Salameh, and his assistant, Marian Hawaik, in Lebanon, according to the newspaper "An-Nahar." The decision has been partially executed on some of these properties, with the remaining parts to follow. The newspaper clarified that this precautionary seizure is intended to protect the state's rights in case a conviction is issued against the three defendants, and if they are acquitted, the seizure will be lifted from these properties.
