The veterinary control authority at the Ministry of Agriculture raided four shops selling animals and their supplies, closing two veterinary clinics: the first in Ouzai, Pet Mart, and the second in Janah, Pet House. All vaccines, medications, and veterinary supplies found were confiscated. The owners of these shops were asked to attend the Ministry of Agriculture and commit not to engage in any illegal activities regarding the vaccination and treatment of animals and the sale of veterinary medications, under the threat of closing these shops and taking legal action against them, referring the matter to the relevant judiciary.
