The spokesperson for the Palestinian police, Colonel Luay Arzeeqat, announced that an armed robbery was carried out at Palestine Bank in Ramallah, marking the second incident of this kind to occur in the West Bank in less than a week. Local sources reported that during the armed robbery, 150,000 shekels (approximately 40,000 US dollars) were stolen. Police and security forces arrived at the scene and initiated search and investigation procedures. Last Thursday, the police had announced an armed robbery that took place at a branch of a bank in the town of Samu’ south of Hebron.
