America Imposes Restrictions on Nvidia Sales in the Middle East

Nvidia announced in a regulatory document this week that the U.S. government has imposed restrictions on some of the company's exports of artificial intelligence chips to certain countries in the Middle East. The company added, "The United States government informed us of additional licensing requirements, during the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, for a subset of 'A100' and 'H100' products intended for specific customers and other regions, including some countries in the Middle East."
