CNN reported on Thursday that American soldier Travis King has arrived at a U.S. military base in Texas, after being expelled by North Korea, where he crossed the heavily fortified border two months ago. According to a U.S. Department of Defense official cited by CNN, "King arrived on a U.S. military flight that landed at Kelly Field at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston." The 23-year-old King unexpectedly entered North Korea from the south on July 18 while on a civilian tour at their border and was immediately detained by North Korea. Washington declined to label him a prisoner of war despite ongoing debate within the government.
