Four Killed in Turkish Strike Against the PKK in Iraq

The Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced the death of four Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) fighters and the injury of another on Friday in the Sulaymaniyah province of northern Iraq, in a Turkish drone strike. The mayor of the Sharbaizer area, Shaho Othman, stated that "the five individuals were in their vehicle in the area when the drone struck them, and the vehicle was hit twice within ten minutes." Turkey has consistently conducted airstrikes in northern Iraq and has dozens of military sites on Iraqi territory.
