Mikati to Speak at the UN General Assembly's Opening Session Tomorrow

The caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, will participate in the opening session of the 78th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, which began this Tuesday afternoon, Beirut time, in New York. The Lebanese delegation to the meetings includes Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Lebanese Mission to the UN, Jana Murad. The Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver Lebanon's speech tomorrow, Wednesday. Mikati arrived in New York on Monday to represent Lebanon at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
