The sixth installment of the horror film Scream has achieved worldwide box office revenue of $140 million and $886 thousand since its release on March 10. The earnings are divided between $91 million and $486 thousand from the global box office and $49 million and $400 thousand from international markets.
The Scream series revolves around the brutal murders that shook the quiet town of Woodsboro, featuring a new killer who uses the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers, bringing to light the town's bloody past. In the sixth part, the survivors of the evil serial killer decide to leave Woodsboro and head to New York City in search of a fresh start, but they are once again pursued by the threat of death.
The film stars American actress Courteney Cox, Mexican actress Melissa Barrera, Canadian actor Roger Jackson, and American actor Dermot Mulroney, among others.
