Air defense systems shot down several drones, including one in the airspace of the capital, Kyiv. Air raid alerts continued for several hours until Sunday morning, affecting nearly two-thirds of Ukrainian territory. The Kyiv military administration reported via Telegram: "During the latest air alert, an enemy reconnaissance drone was detected in the airspace over Kyiv and was destroyed. Initially, there were no injuries or damages." The alerts extended from Kyiv and areas to the west of it through all regions in the east, as well as south to the Kherson region and the Crimean Peninsula, which has been annexed by Russia for years. A Russian-appointed official in Crimea stated that "Ukraine launched more than 10 drones into the airspace of the peninsula."
