The official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that one of the Royal Saudi Air Force's Tornado fighter jets crashed today, Monday, during a routine training mission in the training area of King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki confirmed that the crew safely exited the aircraft using ejection seats, and there were no injuries or damages on the ground as a result of the crash. He concluded his statement by mentioning that an investigation committee has begun its work to determine the details and causes of the incident.
