After the Karabakh Explosion: Red Cross Reveals Injury Numbers

The International Committee of the Red Cross announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that "an explosion occurred in a fuel depot in the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh region, resulting in hundreds of people suffering from burns." It mentioned that it is "providing medical assistance to those with burns and transporting some individuals by ambulance, but is facing overcrowding in hospitals and disruptions in traffic." The explosion happened as thousands of Armenians were fleeing the area following Azerbaijan's defeat of Armenian fighters in a swift military operation.
