"Eni": North African Countries to Be the Main Supplier of Natural Gas to Italy

Guido Brusco, the Chief Operating Officer of the Natural Resources sector at Italy's Eni, revealed to Reuters that Algeria, Egypt, and Libya will become the main countries supplying gas to Italy in the coming years. He added that the company will invest heavily in Africa in exploration and new low-carbon projects. Brusco stated, "Africa is a continent that requires significant investment in traditional exploration and the production sector."
