Army Commander General Joseph Aoun received UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Commander Major General Aroldo Lázaro in his office in Yarze. The discussion focused on the cooperation between UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army.
Additionally, General Aoun welcomed the Lebanese air rifle shooting team that participated in the World Championship in the Czech Republic, congratulating team members after shooter Fadi Kiywan achieved first place individually, while the team secured second place worldwide in the team category.
Furthermore, Akrm Halabi, President of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, was received by General Aoun along with a delegation from the federation and former Lebanese basketball stars who participated in a match alongside the Lebanese Army team to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the army.
