Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan, chose Instagram to announce the wedding date of her daughter, Princess Iman, and her fiancé, Jalil Alexander Termoutis, which will take place in a week on March 12. She accompanied her announcement with the lyrics of artist Marwan Khoury and the voice of singer Elissa.
The Queen posted a video on her Instagram account featuring a heartfelt background with Elissa's voice, showcasing touching moments between herself, the Jordanian monarch, and their daughter, Princess Iman, including snippets from her childhood to the present.
Along with the video, the Queen addressed Princess Iman, saying, "In a week, God willing, I will see you as a bride... I surround you with the name of God, O Iman, O fragrant flower of the house... May God bless you and light your path."
She added, "Thank you to the creative artist Elissa for the dedication and to the talented artist Marwan Khoury for the lyrics and melodies... Such a beautiful voice and expressive words that touch the heart."
