The Shanghai Stock Exchange announced today, Monday, that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with its Saudi counterpart. The exchange stated in a release that "the two exchanges will explore cooperation opportunities in areas such as listings, financial technology, environmental and social practices, corporate governance, and research." Shanghai Stock Exchange General Manager Tsai Jian Chun expressed, "We are pleased to cooperate with the Saudi market... and look forward to enhancing mutual collaboration in products, including exchange-traded funds, and strengthening relations between the two markets."
