The Serbian List Party: Toward a Boycott of Elections

The main party in northern Kosovo, the Serbian List, called on Serbian-origin citizens today, Friday, to boycott the local elections scheduled for Sunday, in the latest sign of the widening gap between them and the ethnic Albanian leadership of Kosovo. The Serbia-backed Serbian List urged the Serbian minority in Kosovo to "remain calm and not fall into the trap of Albin Kurti's provocations," referring to the elected Prime Minister of Kosovo. Serbian-origin citizens dominate northern Kosovo.
