Lebanese Player Motouk Represents Asia in World Cup Film

A British company has selected Lebanon's national football team captain, Hassan Motouk, to participate in a film produced in collaboration with FIFA titled "Six Captains." This decision came after the company followed the Lebanese star throughout his football career and achievements. Motouk, a star player for Lebanon's Ansar team, was chosen to represent Asia alongside five global football stars representing different continents, including Croatia's Luka Modrić of Real Madrid for Europe, Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Chelsea for Africa, and Brazil's Thiago Silva of Chelsea for South America.

The film was shot during the qualifying period for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and features scenes from the players' private lives with family, friends, and children. It also showcases the interactions with players and the atmosphere during matches and meetings. Filming lasted approximately one year, and the episodes will be broadcast on Netflix and later on FIFA's website, with each episode including segments featuring the six players.
