The ministry's statement read, "The results of the Vilnius summit will be carefully analyzed, taking into account the challenges and threats to Russia's security and interests that have been identified." It added, "We will respond in a timely and appropriate manner using all available means and methods, and in addition to the decisions that have already been made, we will continue to strengthen the military organization and defense system of the country."
