Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated today, Tuesday, that "Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko discussed during two days of talks the topic of the Wagner private military group, economic cooperation between the two countries, and external threats." Peskov stated, "Putin and Lukashenko have not yet reached any new agreements in the latest talks," but he added, "within the framework of close relations, the presidents coordinate their positions." He continued: "The agenda included the topic of the Wagner group, issues of trade and economic cooperation, the Union State, and external threats along the borders of our two countries." Lukashenko traveled to St. Petersburg on Sunday to hold talks with Putin.
