British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced additional aid for the Palestinians on Monday, stating that the government will provide an extra £20 million ($24.4 million). Sunak told parliament members in an update on the latest developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: "We need a continuous flow of aid to deliver the water, food, medicine, and fuel that they desperately need." He considered that "the explosion that occurred at the hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday was most likely caused by a rocket fired from within Gaza."
