The flight, numbered HM22, encountered a technical problem that necessitated the emergency landing at Jeddah Airport. According to Israeli media, efforts began immediately to ensure the swift return of the passengers to their intended destination, and a replacement aircraft was organized, taking off shortly after the emergency landing.
