Joint Exercises Begin Between Beijing and Moscow in the Sea of Japan

Chinese Central Television announced today, Thursday, that China and Russia have commenced their joint naval and aerial exercises in the Sea of Japan. The report stated that both sides will primarily focus on training in maritime and aerial protection, deterrence, repelling attacks, and other areas. It added, "The joint exercises will test the capabilities of the Chinese and Russian militaries to integrate joint operations in distant waters."
