The Riaq Division of the Regional Gendarmerie reported that a man named (F. H.) (born in 1968, of Syrian nationality) bound his brother (A. H., born in 1966) with a metal chain inside a tent for about twenty days in the Faour area, due to the brother suffering from psychological disorders and disturbing the peace of nearby residents. Subsequently, the division brought both brothers in for questioning, and (F. H.) confessed to the allegations against him. The latter was arrested, and (A. H.) was handed over to another brother after obtaining a commitment from him not to tie or harm him and to provide necessary protection and treatment, based on the directive of the competent judiciary.
