The White House: America Intends to Announce Security Guarantee Plan for Ukraine

Amanda Sloat, Director for Europe at the National Security Council in the White House, indicated that "the United States will announce a security guarantee plan for Ukraine at an event today, Wednesday, with G7 member countries." Sloat added: "The military alliance's message regarding expectations for Ukraine’s accession to the alliance has been positive; from our perspective, it is a strong and promising message." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his dissatisfaction in Vilnius on Tuesday that NATO had not provided a timeline for joining the alliance.
