Minister of Education Renews Closure of Schools in Southern Border Areas

The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halabi, has renewed the closure of schools, secondary schools, institutes, and both public and private vocational schools located in the southern border areas for tomorrow, Monday, October 23, 2023. As for the institutions adjacent to the southern border areas, the decision to open or close them is left to the discretion of the director. Meanwhile, schools in other Lebanese areas will operate normally. He urged citizens to follow the ministry's announcements daily to stay updated on developments and to maintain the academic year.
