The draw for the 24th Arab Women's Basketball Championship will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at 1 PM Cairo time on the website of the Arab Basketball Federation. The championship will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from the 6th to the 15th of next month, with the participation of nine teams: Fatima bint Mubarak Academy from the UAE, Kawkab Sports Association and Maghreb Tangier from Morocco, North Gas and Sanharib from Iraq, Gift Star from Somalia, KUCIDAR from Algeria, Al-Qurain Sports Club from Kuwait, and Al-Asimah from Saudi Arabia. Notably, the defending champion, Beirut from Lebanon, will be absent for the first time. This will be the first participation of Fatima bint Mubarak Academy at the Arab level, and team officials aim to make a mark in this sporting event following a successful training camp held in Serbia.
