Berlin Police Lift Alert After Emergency Warning at School

Berlin police lifted the alert on Wednesday after receiving a report of a man wandering between classrooms at a local school, carrying what appeared to be a weapon and hiding bags in the building. A police spokesperson stated, "The operation ended around 12:50 PM (10:50 AM GMT), without finding this man." Earlier in the day, the local broadcasting agency "RBB24" noted that "the mentioned man may have also hidden bags in the school for reasons that remain unclear." It was added that "instructions were issued over the school's loudspeakers for students and teachers to stay in their classrooms, and emergency services are currently searching the building."
