Deputy Tony Frangieh confirmed that his father, amidst the numerous political battles Lebanon has known, was able to maintain relationships with various parties. Even at the height of divisions, he extended his hand to everyone and forgave them because he always aimed for unity. He pointed out that those who taunt the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Frangieh, will find that if he is elected, he will be an extension of President Michel Aoun's term; he was the one who elected Aoun and brought him to the presidency. He said, "Regardless of whether the Marada Movement is a party or not, what matters is that Frangieh has the ability today to communicate with different political factions, just as he did during the many divisions the country witnessed. What distinguishes Frangieh is his ability to communicate with the French, the Americans, Hezbollah, and Syria at the same time." About the relationship of the head of "Marada" with Arab countries, Deputy Frangieh confirmed, "It is based on respect and love, and has never known any form of hostility or rivalry." He added, "Regarding the relationship with Saudi Arabia, one can say that communication is not daily, but strengthening it will help alleviate many concerns, which we sensed through the attendance of the head of Marada at the (Taif Agreement) celebration." He concluded, "They taunt us about our friendship because we have no enmities or rivalries to be mocked about."
