A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department announced today, Sunday, that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke by phone with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani yesterday, Saturday, to discuss efforts to evacuate seriously injured individuals from Gaza. The spokesman added that Blinken and the Qatari Prime Minister also discussed increasing the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza and ensuring the release of those held by Hamas.
