"Strong Republic" Delivers Petition to Belgian Ambassador Regarding Port Explosion

A delegation from the "Lebanese Forces" party visited the Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Koen Verfaillie. The delegation included member of the "Strong Republic" bloc, MP Saeed Asmar, former Minister of Foreign Relations Richard Kyomjian, and Tony Darwish from the department. The delegation discussed various political developments in Lebanon and the region, and handed the ambassador a copy of the petition directed to the member states of the UN Human Rights Council, which affirms and commends the position of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the need to form an international fact-finding committee regarding the crime of the Beirut port explosion on August 4, 2020.
