Turkish Industry Minister Mohamad Fatih Kacar indicated today, Thursday, that "the World Bank has approved funding of $450 million to support small and medium enterprises in the region affected by the earthquakes in February in the country." The minister added: "Turkey is also planning to start utilizing the funding provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency within a month." The earthquakes that struck southern Turkey resulted in more than 50,000 fatalities and displaced millions.
