South Korean Foreign Minister: Washington and Seoul Will Adopt Expanded Deterrence Against North Korea

South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin stated today that he and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken agreed that their countries will coordinate to implement an expanded deterrence strategy against North Korean threats. Park also mentioned that they are urging North Korea to cancel its plan to launch a reconnaissance satellite.
