Yasser Al-Azmeh Sends a Message to His Friend Hisham Sharbatji

The Syrian artist Yasser Al-Azmeh mourned the loss of his friend, director Hisham Sharbatji. He shared two photos of them together in their youth on his Instagram account. In the heartfelt caption, he wrote: "On my birthday, a dear friend departs from us. We began our long journey in professional art together, enjoying the beginnings, tackling thorny paths, overcoming many difficulties, and paving the rough road for those who walked with us or after us on the same path. May God's mercy be upon you, my dear friend Hisham." He added: "My warm condolences to his daughter, young director Rasha Sharbatji, and to his son, director and cameraman Yazan, as well as to all his family and relatives. May God grant him a place in His vast paradise and forgive all his sins. And the permanence is only for the face of God Almighty."
