Today, Monday, Speaker of the House Nabih Berri received the new Bulgarian Ambassador Ysen Tomov at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh during a protocol visit to mark the start of his diplomatic duties as his country's ambassador to Lebanon. The visit was also an opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries. Additionally, Speaker Berri met with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Frontscka. He also met with the representative of religious authority Sayyid Ali al-Sistani in Lebanon, Hamid al-Khafaf, who extended an invitation for him to attend the sixth Al-Sadiqin Festival, organized by the Al-Bayt Charity Association, which will take place on October 3, 2023.
