The film Interstellar is no longer the longest film by British director Christopher Nolan, as he is preparing a new film titled "Oppenheimer." In an interview with Total Film, Nolan revealed that his Oppenheimer film will be his longest to date, although he did not specify the exact duration of the film. Nolan indicated that Oppenheimer would be slightly longer than Interstellar, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes.
The film is scheduled for release in global theaters on July 21. It revolves around the story of American scientist Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb.
