Jordanian Army Shoots Down Drone Loaded with Explosives

The Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported today, Wednesday, that the Jordanian army has shot down a drone loaded with explosives. The agency indicated that "the drone carrying explosives of the type (TNT) was dealt with by a team from the Royal Engineering Corps (Arab Army)." A military source in the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that "border guard forces, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Department and military security agencies, monitored an attempt to illegally cross a drone from Syrian territory into Jordanian territory, and it was shot down within Jordanian territory."
