Journalist Carmen Joukhadar, a correspondent for Al Jazeera, shared a photo on her X platform account that was taken by the martyr journalist Issam Abdullah one day before his martyrdom due to Israeli shelling that targeted journalists at the southern border.
In her post, she wrote: "This photo was taken by the martyr Issam Abdullah one day before we were targeted.. I am still in the hospital with numerous shrapnel wounds and pain in my body, and in my heart, the biggest shrapnel is the loss of a dear colleague.. Thank you all for the messages, love, and support.. I apologize for my lack of response.. My love to everyone."
